Introducing Jamie Trott as our new Land Director

Jamie Trott - Clean Energy Capital

Clean Energy Capital Ltd ('CEC') is thrilled to announce the appointment of new land director, Jamie Trott. Jamie will be responsible for spearheading CEC's land team, currently made up of 3 analysts and 2 associates, through our high growth phase and into 2024. His role will also cover all land activity at CEC, including managing external relationships with our land agents and landowners.

Jamie brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, joining CEC from Gresham House where he has been responsible for the origination and execution of investment opportunities across the housing team. His work has primarily focused on acquisitions and investment strategy for the registered social housing provider (ReSI Homes Ltd) that Gresham House manages.

"We are delighted to welcome Jamie as our new Land Manager” said Alexander Goodall, CEO and Founder of CEC. "His passion for sustainability and land management, along with his leadership skills and strategic mindset, will make him an invaluable addition to Clean Energy Capital.”

Prior to his role at Gresham House, Jamie worked at the private affordable housing developer, Pocket Living, for eight years. Working in their land and finance teams, Jamie focused on development origination and execution, analysis, planning applications, contract negotiations and managing investment strategies throughout the various stages of the development cycle.

Jamie holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Nottingham and a first-class MSc from the Royal Agricultural University. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Jamie commented, ‘I am beyond excited to join such a dynamic and accomplished team at this important stage of Clean Energy Capital’s growth trajectory. As the impact of global warming and climate change becomes more and more apparent in today’s society, the need for supplying clean power has never been more critical. I am eager to get started and help CEC play their part in that effort.’
